ARA Tower
The ARA Tower is a 32-story, 720,000 square foot building in Philadelphia, PA. This $78 million office building was designed to compliment it’s neighbors and involved a complex combination of public and private transactions. Scott Toombs of Merritt Capital Investors, LLC saw that the project was completed on time and under budget. His role included obtaining state and local approvals for the project, securing debt and equity financing, supervising design and construction, acting as general contractor and securing three bids for each trade, leasing to ARAMARK for their headquarters, and finally owning and managing the property until it’s sale which took place two years after completion.
